Terms, Disclaimer & Shipping Notice

1. How rates are set

Rates on this site are all-in, covering direct delivery to the destination, fuel surcharge and standard dock handling. Final weight, dimensions and freight class follow actual measurement at pickup; if they differ from the declaration, the final freight is re-rated on the measured figures. Rates are calculated from the actual dimensions and weight you declare. Free overhang allowance: up to 1 in per side on the 40-in edge (2 in total); no overhang beyond the 48-in long edge. Cargo beyond the free allowance may incur additional charges and is measured at its outermost points; the final amount follows actual measurement at pickup and the carrier's actual charges, and any difference is borne by the customer. Overhanging, over-height, or over-width freight affects loading: it may not fit, may reduce the loadable quantity, or may require re-palletizing or a rescheduled pickup; any resulting charges, delays, and losses are borne by the customer, and the platform bears no responsibility for them.

Freight rates change with the market; prices on this site are current quotes and are not held for a fixed period. Once you select a rate on the order page and complete payment, the price is honored as quoted. A quote that is not selected and paid promptly may no longer apply — please re-price; your order information is kept indefinitely and never auto-deleted — re-price the same order in one click at current rates and continue, or delete the order yourself. If, at re-pricing or booking, the carrier cost has moved no more than 3% from the original quote, the original price still applies; if it has moved more than 3%, the new price is sent to you for confirmation before booking.

Truckload capacity: a 53-ft truckload is rated and loaded at a default of 26 standard pallets. Oversize, irregularly shaped or over-wide freight can change the number of pallets that actually fit; where space allows on site, 27–28 pallets may fit. The actual loaded count depends on conditions on site, and we make no commitment as to pallet count. Freight beyond one truck's actual capacity is outside the scope of that truckload order and must be shipped under a separate order.

2. Accessorial charges

The following charges are not included in the all-in rate and are payable by the customer when incurred. Each charge is billed at the amount on the carrier's or the actual service provider's invoice; this platform adds no markup. If you question any charge, we will provide the carrier's charge record for verification, with amounts and carrier information unrelated to that charge redacted.

  1. Reweigh and remeasure difference. If the carrier reweighs the freight, remeasures its dimensions or re-determines its freight class at pickup or in transit and the actual figures differ from the declaration, freight is re-rated on the actual figures and the difference is borne by the customer. If the carrier also charges an inspection fee, it is billed per the carrier invoice.
  2. Oversize difference. Cargo overhanging the pallet edge by more than 2 inches may incur additional charges. If any side exceeds the carrier standard, or volume or density triggers a re-rating, the actual carrier charge applies and any difference is borne by the customer.
  3. Pickup liftgate fee. Charged when the pickup location has no dock, forklift or similar equipment and a liftgate vehicle is needed to raise the freight from the ground into the vehicle. The actual carrier charge applies.
  4. Delivery liftgate fee. Charged when the delivery location has no dock, forklift or similar equipment and a liftgate is needed to lower the freight from the vehicle to the ground. The actual carrier charge applies.
  5. Detention. Charged when the driver arrives at the agreed time and loading or unloading exceeds the free waiting time because the freight is not ready, there is a queue, loading or unloading is slow, documents are incomplete, or the consignee does not receive promptly. The actual carrier charge applies.
  6. Dry run. Charged when a driver has been dispatched or has arrived at pickup but cannot load because the freight is not ready, the facility is closed, the address is wrong, the pickup is cancelled, or for a similar reason. The actual carrier charge applies.
  7. Layover. Charged when the shipper or consignee causes the driver to be unable to complete loading or unloading on the same day and the driver must wait overnight. The actual carrier charge applies.
  8. Appointment delivery fee. Charged when the consignee requires delivery on a specified date or in a specified time window, or requires the carrier to call ahead and confirm the receiving time. The actual carrier charge applies.
  9. Residential delivery fee. Charged when a pickup or delivery address is a residence, home office or other non-standard commercial location and the carrier must arrange a suitable vehicle, extra labor or extra time. The actual carrier charge applies.
  10. Limited-access location service. Charged when a pickup or delivery location is a school, construction site, storage facility, trade show, farm, military area or another location requiring check-in, security screening, restricted entry hours or special access. The actual carrier charge applies.
  11. Inside delivery. Standard handover is at the dock, doorway or rear of the vehicle. Charged when the customer requires freight to be carried into a room, yard, upper floor, basement or another designated position. Distance, floors, piece count and time beyond the standard range are charged at the actual carrier amount.
  12. Third-party loading labor. Loading and unloading are arranged by the pickup and delivery sites themselves; where loading labor must be hired on site, the charge is settled at the actual receipt amount.
  13. Redelivery. Charged when the first delivery cannot be completed because no one receives the freight, the freight is refused, the address or phone number is wrong, the facility is closed, or for a similar reason, and another delivery trip is required. Extra mileage, waiting or storage is charged at the actual amount.
  14. Reconsignment. Charged when the delivery address, contact or delivery location is changed after dispatch, or the freight is redirected to another facility. The actual carrier charge applies, together with any freight difference from the added mileage.
  15. Storage after a failed delivery. Charged when freight has arrived but cannot be delivered because no one receives it, the consignee cannot be reached, or the consignee gives no delivery arrangement, and the freight must be held at a carrier terminal or warehouse. The actual carrier charge applies.
  16. Weekend, holiday and after-hours service. Charged when the customer requires pickup, delivery, loading or unloading outside the carrier or facility’s regular business hours. The actual carrier charge applies.
  17. Extra stop. Charged when a pickup or delivery location is added after the order is confirmed. The actual carrier charge applies, plus any freight difference from the added mileage.
  18. Repalletizing and restacking. Charged when freight leans, breaks up, is inverted, is inadequately wrapped or has damaged packaging and cannot be transported safely, and must be restacked, placed on a new pallet, rewrapped or repacked. Settled on actual labor and materials. See the Pallet & Loading Guide.
  19. Cargo insurance. If the customer selects cargo insurance at booking, the premium is fixed at 0.5% of the declared cargo value and is added directly to the order total. Freight without selected cargo insurance carries no cargo insurance.
  20. Other actual extra charges. Other charges actually imposed by the carrier or a third party because of a customer request or actual conditions on site are charged at the actual amount. Truck100 will itemize the reason and amount in the order’s charge records.

An added service that the customer selected at booking and that is expressly included in the selected rate will not be charged twice. Services added after transport begins, services actually performed on site, and charges arising because declared conditions do not match site conditions are settled under this section.

3. Collection authorization

By accepting the Shipping Notice you authorize Truck100 to collect the above charges from your linked bank account or account balance. After each collection we email a notice stating the amount and reason to your primary and backup addresses. All collections are itemized on your order page.

4. Pickup and delivery cooperation

The platform accepts orders 365 days a year; pickup dates follow the actual business hours of the shipping and receiving facilities. Weekend and holiday pickups require confirmed facility hours and are subject to actual capacity. Freight must be packed and documented before pickup, and the consignee must be present in the agreed window. All pickups use the Truck100 bill of lading (generated on the order page, 4 copies); the order number is the master number for the whole shipment.

We do not accept orders delivering to warehouses that require a delivery appointment, including Amazon and Walmart warehouses and other appointment-only facilities. Please confirm with us before ordering to such an address; orders placed without confirmation may be cancelled or redirected to another address, with any resulting costs borne by the customer.

5. Damage and loss

Truck100 is a transport booking and coordination platform. It does not itself carry freight and is not an insurer. If the customer has not added cargo insurance and freight is lost or damaged in transit, Truck100 does not bear liability for the cargo loss. We will help the customer prepare claim documents, submit the claim to the actual motor carrier and follow up. Whether a claim is paid, and in what amount, is determined by the actual carrier under its carriage terms, the actual loss and the claim documents.

Basic carrier liability is not full-value compensation. It is usually calculated as the weight of the lost or damaged freight multiplied by a per-pound liability limit, subject to a maximum limit per shipment. For new goods, about $1–$5 per pound is common, and some carriers or higher freight classes can reach $25 per pound. For used, refurbished or resold goods, the limit can be as low as $0.10 per pound. A maximum liability of $100,000 per shipment is common, but limits vary widely by carrier and by the terms of the specific shipment, and the actual carrier’s terms for that shipment control.

To claim, the customer must provide the cargo invoice, packing list, cargo photos, damage photos, delivery receipt and similar documents. Visible damage to the packaging or freight must be noted on the delivery receipt at delivery. For high-value freight, or freight with a high value per pound, we recommend adding cargo insurance at booking; the premium is 0.5% of the declared cargo value.

For internal damage discovered only after unpacking (concealed damage: the outer packaging is intact and the damage cannot be seen at signing), the receiver must notify Truck100 in writing within 72 hours of delivery and keep the freight, the outer packaging, damage photos and an unboxing video; if notice is late, the carrier may refuse the claim and Truck100 will be unable to assist with it.

The condition of the freight before it is handed to the carrier is the customer’s responsibility: the customer warrants that the freight is sound when tendered and packaged sufficiently for normal road transport. Damage that already existed at shipping, or that results from insufficient packaging, is outside the carrier’s liability, and Truck100 is not liable for it either. Photographing the freight and its packaging at pickup is recommended as evidence of its condition.

6. Signed delivery

On delivery, the receiver’s signature on the bill of lading or delivery receipt confirms that the freight was delivered as described on the bill. Any visible damage or shortage must be noted on the receipt at the time of signing and photographed; a clean signature is treated as delivery in good order. Once the freight is signed for, Truck100 will assist the customer in communicating and claiming with the actual carrier for any damage or shortage raised afterwards, but Truck100 itself is not liable for compensation; the carrier’s liability follows its own limits and terms. Cargo insurance (0.5% of the declared value) is recommended for high-value freight.

Please inspect the freight before signing. The receiver should check the outer packaging and piece count before signing and sign only after confirming everything is in order. Problems reported within 72 hours of signing will be accepted by Truck100 and pursued with the actual carrier on the customer’s behalf; however, the outcome rests with the carrier’s determination, and Truck100 does not guarantee compensation or any particular result. Disputes and claims raised more than 72 hours after signing will no longer be accepted.

7. Cancellation and changes

Free cancellation before dispatch. After dispatch, incurred charges such as dry-run fees are billed as incurred.

8. Prohibited goods and truthful declaration

Drugs and other contraband, illegal goods, and undeclared hazardous materials are strictly prohibited. Cargo nature must be declared truthfully; liquids and goods that may leak or contaminate must be declared in writing in advance and packed leak-proof. Consequences of concealment or misdeclaration are borne by the customer, including contamination damage to other freight and the vehicle, fines and claims, and costs of refusal or return of the whole shipment. Truck100 may refuse contraband and report it to the authorities; all legal liability rests with the customer.

9. Payment fees

  1. Smaller orders from customers in China (Alipay / WeChat Pay): suitable for small and medium orders from customers in China. The customer pays the CNY amount shown on the page; settlement is converted to USD automatically with no extra fee to the customer. Whether a payment succeeds, and the amount available per transaction, depend on the customer’s Alipay or WeChat account, the bank card linked to it and cross-border payment limits. If payment fails or the order amount is large, use bank wire instead. (Applies once online payment is enabled.)
  2. Large orders from customers in China (bank wire): full-truckload and large orders should be paid by bank wire. Business customers remit from their company bank account; individuals follow their bank’s foreign-exchange purchase and cross-border remittance requirements. Remit in USD; the remitter bears their bank's fees. Shortfalls must be topped up before booking. Wire details are provided on the order page after a rate is selected; put the order number in the memo and email [email protected] after wiring.
  3. Offline payment (contact us): if none of the above works for you, or you need help paying, email [email protected] with your order number. We will tell you which offline methods are available — bank wire, ACH transfer, Payoneer or prepaid balance — and help you complete the payment.
  4. Prepaid balance: customers in China may top up in advance by offline bank wire — contact us to arrange it. Balances are credited at the amount actually received. Later freight and accessorial charges can be deducted from the balance, avoiding repeated wires.
  5. Linked US bank account payment: customers who hold a real US bank account may pay through a linked account with no fee; linking an account authorizes collection of later accessorial charges per these Terms. This site does not accept credit cards. Business customers who hold a US account through a platform such as XTransfer or a Payoneer USD account may pay us by ACH transfer to the ACH routing and account number shown on the order page, settled on the amount actually received. Such platform accounts can only send payments initiated by the customer; they cannot be debited by us.
  6. Payoneer payment: business customers who already have a Payoneer business account may pay us through Payoneer. Payoneer deducts a fee of 1.2% of the payment amount — for example, a $1,000 payment arrives as $988, $1,500 as $1,482, and $2,000 as $1,976. Orders are settled on the amount actually received; any shortfall must be topped up before booking. Payoneer receiving details are provided after the order is confirmed.
  7. All prices are in USD; conversion differences follow the actual charged amount.

10. Balance top-up

  1. Offline top-up by bank wire or similar channels is free — contact us at [email protected]. Customers who hold a US bank account may also top up online through a linked account, free of charge. (Applies once the relevant feature is enabled.)
  2. Offline top-ups are credited at the amount actually received, as channel fees vary.
  3. Top up early: insufficient balance prevents booking and dispatch, and last-minute top-ups may delay shipment.
  4. Refunds: balances for unshipped orders are refundable. For shipped orders, remaining balances are refunded 20 days after the last delivery, once all rate differences and accessorial charges are settled.

11. Deposits and bank account linking

  1. We do not bind customers' bank accounts directly. All payments and account linking on this site are processed by Stripe, a U.S. publicly traded payment company, and your bank account details never pass through our company. See the system tutorial for the steps (applies once the feature is live).
  2. Linking a bank account: customers holding a U.S. bank account may link it and sign an automatic debit authorization; freight differences and accessorial charges are then debited automatically under the authorization, making routine payments and charges more convenient. Linking a bank account does not waive the deposit — every customer must pay it.
  3. Deposit amounts: every new account pays a standing account deposit. The deposit depends on the shipment type: US$500 for LTL shipments and US$3,000 for full-truckload shipments. Until the deposit is received, the account can get rates but cannot place orders.
  4. The deposit is a standing account deposit, paid once and held while the account remains open; it is not charged per shipment. The deposit is not freight and cannot be applied to freight itself; it is held untouched for as long as the account remains open; freight, service charges and final-bill differences are collected from the customer's account balance (or, where a bank account is linked, debited from the linked account under the authorization), and if the balance is short the customer must top up. The deposit is refundable on request under the next item; account closure is not required. Freight is paid separately from a topped-up account balance; new customers must pay the deposit and top up before placing their first order.
  5. You may request the deposit back at any time, without closing your account. If you have never shipped, the refund is processed on request; if you have shipped, it is processed 20 days after delivery of your last shipment, once all freight differences and accessorial charges are settled. Once the deposit is refunded, the account returns to quote-only status until the deposit is paid again.

12. Amendments, disclaimer and execution

  1. Amendments. These terms may be revised from time to time as the business or applicable regulations change. Revised terms take effect once published on this page, without individual notice. By continuing to use this platform's services after a revision is published, the customer is deemed to accept the revised terms.
  2. Platform role. Truck100 is a freight booking and coordination platform and is not itself a carrier; actual carriage is performed by third-party carriers. Where delays, cancellations, detours or service changes are caused by a carrier, the platform will promptly notify the customer and assist with communication, rescheduling or reassignment, but does not bear direct liability to compensate for the carrier's acts.
  3. Information for reference only. The rates, transit times, service scope and network coverage shown on this site are general descriptions. The content confirmed for each individual order prevails, and nothing here constitutes a promise or guarantee of any specific outcome.
  4. Force majeure. The platform bears no liability where performance is prevented or delayed, or loss is caused, by force majeure or accidental events such as natural disasters, extreme weather, traffic controls, government actions, strikes, war, or network or power failures. The platform will promptly notify the customer and make reasonable efforts to help reduce the impact.
  5. Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the platform's total liability in respect of a single shipment is capped at the service fees actually charged by the platform for that order. Compensation for cargo loss or damage is handled under the preceding sections of these terms and the actual carrier's liability terms.
  6. Third-party services. This site may mention or connect to third-party services and websites. Their content, availability and liability rest with the third party, and customers should check the applicable terms themselves when using them.
  7. Governing law and dispute resolution. The formation, validity and interpretation of these terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Any dispute arising from these terms or the platform's services shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation; if negotiation fails, it shall be submitted to a court of competent jurisdiction in California for litigation.

Términos, aviso legal, avisos de envío y cargos

  9. Entrega a dirección residencial.
